The prefix before- indicates "prior to time or space." For example: beforearm, beforeYesterday.
Prefixes are elements of the language that are placed in the initial part of the word, partially or totally modifying its meaning.

How to write the prefix before-
The prefixes must be soldered to the word, that is, joined (without a hyphen or space) to the word they accompany.
This prefix can be used both in adverbs (for example: the day before yesterday), nouns (for example: antechamber) as in verbs (for example: put before).
Examples of words with the prefix before-
- The day before yesterday. Before the indicated day.
- Forearm. Part anterior to the articulation of the arm itself.
- Antechamber. Site located in front of the camera.
- Antechapel. Hall or room adjoining a chapel.
- Precedes. That appears before anything else in time or space.
- Above. Which has been cited previously.
- Antefuture. Verb tense that refers to a certain action that is not possible in the future or with respect to another future
- Beforehand. With advance or anticipation in time with respect to something else. It is used with the adverbial phrase “de”: beforehand.
- The night before. Night before yesterday.
- Glasses. Glasses that are used for those who have vision problems.
- Anteroom. Room or room that has access to a box.
- Ancestor. Person who precedes us.
- Ledge. Railing that is placed to prevent falls from a balcony.
- Foreleg. Anterior part of the leg joint itself.
- Put forward. Put something before something else.
- Bastard title. Sheet before the cover in a book.
- Preliminary draft. Previous project to the main one.
- Outer port. Port area where ships are placed.
