Theclosed questions are those that propose the options that the receiver will have to answer, who will only have to choose between one of them. Closed questions are looking for a clear and concise answer, generally 'yes' or 'no'. For example: You like to travel by plane?
On the other hand, closed questions are also considered those that do not have a fixed number of options, but that expect a short answer and lacking subjective analysis. Asking for a number in any of its forms (a date, an amount, a value) is a closed question. For example: How many people enter this theater?
Open questions, on the other hand, are those that do not delimit the answer options and offer greater multiplicity. For example: What do you think about the latest government statements?

Uses of closed questions
One of the areas where closed questions are usually used is in the school or college evaluation, where the use of this type of question is both an opportunity to have a simple glimpse of the student's knowledge, but offers the possibility (in the case that the questions have binomial answers, such as 'yes' or 'no') that success is just a matter of luck.
The Job interviews, for example, they have a large number of questions of this type at the beginning, as the company quickly notes if the postulate has the essential requirements requested by it: once this is guaranteed, it will surely proceed to more open questions where they inquire about other qualities.
The bureaucratic formsOn the other hand, they also usually contain closed questions, in which the person in charge of answering completes the requested data before returning it to the employee in question.
