Pronunciation of V and B
The consonants go short and the be long they differ in pronunciation, but in various regions of America this differentiation has been lost, so they practically sound indistinguishable.
Actually the be long is emitted almost joining the two lips, while in the go short there is a sliding of the lower lip over the upper teeth, which generates a harsher sound and a higher vibration. Although it is not easy to register if someone is speaking a b or one v Correctly, this is the formal difference and in some regions their differentiation becomes more noticeable.
