Content
A literary text it is a form of oral or written production that privileges aesthetic, poetic and playful forms over the informative or objective content of the message.
Literary texts propose subjective and free approaches from a reflective, experiential or contemplative content of reality, with the aim of generating emotions in the reader.
In fact, one of the main characteristics of any literary text, as well as of other artistic forms, is that it lacks a clear function or a specific objective. In other words, it is of no practical use and that is its main difference from non-literary texts.
In ancient Greece, considered the literary cradle of the West, tragedy (the forerunner of contemporary theater) was indispensable in the emotional and civic formation of the citizen, since it transmitted political, religious and moral values considered necessary. At the same time, the epic (precursor of the current narrative) was the means of transmission of the great founding myths of Hellenic civilization, such as those contained in The Iliad Y TheOdyssey.
At present, literary texts are considered part of leisure, recreation and training activities given their broad human content, expressed as references and nods to historical events, popular stories, symbols and archetypes of culture, as well as transformed real experiences or embellished through fiction.

Types of literary texts
At present, literary texts are classified according to their specific use of language, in a set of orders called literary genres. These are:
- Narrative. This genre includes the short story, the novel, the micro-story, the literary chronicle and other forms of the story, real or imaginary, fantastic or realistic, which emphasizes the characters, the framework of the action and the figure of the narrator to generate in the reader expectation, tension and other similar emotions.
- Poetry. It is the freest of the literary arts, since it does not comprise practically any rule that defines what a poem is or is not, except its purpose of expressing feelings, existential perspectives, reflections or even a certain degree of narration but in the absence of defined characters. well-defined narrators or instances.Formerly it was elaborated in rhymes and verses counted by the number of syllables, but today it is considered that a poem can acquire any type of established form and structure, obeying its own and inexplicable musicality.
- Dramaturgy. Dramatic writing is one whose representation is intended for a theater, a film or television setting. It normally includes characters and settings, in situations that occur in front of the viewer without being mediated by a narrator.
- Test. The essay consists of a reflective and explanatory approach to any topic, through an exercise of subjective argumentation that seeks to offer unpublished points of view or perspectives.
