So, technique is linked to skill or dexterity, but fundamentally with methodical learning and accumulated experience to successfully overcome a given objective. It is interesting to mention that this word comes from the Greek τεχνη (technē), which refers to the idea of knowledge. Definitely, behind every technique there is the notion of knowing.
Taking into account the definition set out, it is clear that there will be countless techniques in a world as vast and specialized as the current one. Many techniques are reflected and systematized in books, treatises or manuals, many others are transmitted orally from teachers to students, from parents to children, between friends or even between casual peers. Without going any further, when a woman passes a cooking recipe orally to a neighbor and gives her details, tips or “secrets” (like “you have to turn the oven very low so that the muffin comes out high”, for example) You are passing on a learned technique based on trial and error. This illustrative example is very useful to differentiate what is 'technical' from what is 'technology', since sometimes these two terms overlap.
